First Stage (PS20): Removes mechanical contaminants from the water larger than 20 microns. Sand, rust, and other sediments are retained by micropores, with pore size decreasing towards the interior. Large particles are trapped at the surface, while smaller particles are captured in deeper layers.
Second Stage (BL or GAC): Removes chlorine and organic substances from the water, protecting the RO membrane and extending its lifespan. Activated carbon, due to its porous structure, is an excellent filtration material. Chemical substances are adsorbed into the pores.
