The use of the L-SOFT series filter will help reduce the problem of hard water in your household. Water that passes through the filter is virtually free of all calcium and magnesium ions. The filters are compatible with most household appliances available on the market that are equipped with the appropriate connections. They can be used, among others, in coffee machines, ice makers, refrigerators, etc. Using water from the L-SOFT filter will allow the natural taste and aroma to emerge from tea/coffee, and no unpleasant deposits will form on the cups.
The design of the filter has been created so that its installation and replacement are simple and do not require the use of specialized tools.
Before use, the filter should be rinsed until the water discoloration disappears.
Hard water (containing large amounts of calcium and magnesium salts) flows through the ion-exchange resin bed in the filter. As a result, calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+) ions are exchanged for sodium ions from the resin, softening the water. This eliminates the problem of scale and unpleasant stains on fixtures.
