The STO cartridge is a modern water filtration system that offers two-stage purification. It effectively removes solid impurities such as rust, sand, and sludge, thereby protecting plumbing systems and household appliances. Additionally, it eliminates chlorine and harmful organic substances, improving water quality, taste, and smell. Ideal for daily household use, it ensures clean and safe water.
Contaminated water flows through the cartridge towards its core. The particles contained in the water are trapped by micropores, whose diameter decreases towards the interior. Large particles are captured at the surface, while smaller ones are trapped in the deeper layers.
This increases the effective surface area, filtration efficiency, and cartridge lifespan.
Due to its porous structure, carbon is an excellent filtration material. The chemical substances present in the water flowing through the activated carbon layer are captured (adsorbed) in the pores, resulting in clean water free of toxins.
