Metal ball valves used to connect a ¼” hose that supplies water from the installation to the filtration system. They are most commonly used in pairs with connections of the appropriate size.
The connection between the valve and the water supply requires the use of Teflon tape for sealing, while the connection between the valve and the ¼” hose does not require additional sealing. Valves are available in thread sizes of 1/4”, 3/8”, and ½”.
