RO4
Compact sizes and a good price make those products very popular among hobbyists. Those systems are available with 3/8”, 1/2” and 3/4” connectors
RO4 is a modern, four- stage reverse osmosis system. Its compact sizes allow it to be installed even in the smallest sink cabinet.
It includes two pre-filters, RO membrane and post filter. This way, it provides you with access to clean water. The system provides up to 280* l of water a day, with a neutral pH** and without any other substances.
*depending on the type of membrane and feed-water pressure.
** osmotically clean water undergoes acidification as a result of CO2 in the air and its pH decreases
Depending on your needs, the system can be based upon WFW or WFU filter housings.
The set includes a RO system, faucet, tank, set of connectors, instructions manual.
The first stage (PS) removes from water mechanical contaminants. Sand, rust and other sediments which can be found in it are seized by micropores whose diameter decreases towards its interior. Large particles are intercepted close to the surface, while smaller ones – in deeper layers.
The second stage (BL or GAC) removes chlorine and organic substances from water, protecting the membrane and extending its service life. Due to its porous structure, activated carbon is an excellent filtration material. Chemical substances are adsorbed in pores.
The third stage (RO membrane) is composed of multiple layers of semipermeable, porous membrane. Its pores are large enough to let water penetrate through them, yet small enough to prevent other substances from passing through. This way, it removes microorganisms or even ions from water.
The fourth stage (L-GAC) – the inline carbon cartridge improves water taste and flavour.
